Insaan works with philanthropists who want their giving to be more impactful. We do this by investing in innovative social enterprises in the Indian Ocean region that create opportunities for the poor through education and entrepreneurship. 

We call this high-impact or catalytic philanthropy. 

Insaan connects philanthropists with those in need across the Indian Ocean region. Our mission is to engage in high-impact philanthropy that changes the lives of many, for better, for good. We do this by supporting social enterprises in their goals to create positive change in people's lives. We provide them with technical knowledge and know-how, and in turn they hold themselves to a higher standard of reporting and evaluation. In this way, we are able to build powerful connections between the giver and the receiver.
